9 es el título de la película que producirá Tim Burton. Se trata de una película de animación, que amplía un cortometraje del mismo título dirgido por Shane Acker, que es también el realizador del largo.
La fantasía tiene lugar en un mundo paralelo. Una bestia mecánica ataca a dos criaturas que son muñecos de trapo. Tras la muerte de su tutor, el otro muñeco debe enfrentarse al monstruo.
